Description

pftp means Port-File-Transfer-Program not to muddle up with standard FTP which is quite different. It transfers files, directories and data from standard input to any host on the net running pftp. pftp is intended to be fast and adaptable to transfer conditions, thus incompatible with FTP protocol.
