Description
The VideoLAN Server (vls) is designed for handling a lot of MPEG sources and broadcasting data over an IP network. I should work on all Linux boxes. It compiles on Solaris. Supports MPEG sources ( the inputs supports MPEG1 PS, MPEG2 PS, MPEG2 TS, DVDs (even encrypted ones) and the Kfir video encoder. )Mounting the DVD isn't required. Supported output: the output is MPEG2 TS over an IP network or to a file.
