The BIND8 does IPv6 RR since the beginnning.
The resolver library in BIND8 supports IPv6 transports since version 8.3.0.
The server in BIND8 supports IPv6 trasnports since version 8.4.0.

How can I configure IPv6 on BIND8?

Look at the Bind9 configuration quide to configure BIND9. It is supporting the same syntax and options.
