How to enable IPv6 on IIS?
IPv6 is partally supported in IIS 6.0 with WIndows Server 2003. If IPv6 is configured on the machine, IIS will answer queries of IPv6 without additional configuration. A restart of IIS is required if IPv6 is enabled while IIS is running.
To check the correct operation of ISS, either use IPv6 enabled browser (Internet Explorer does not support RFC 2732 style literal IPv6 addresses in URL, only IPv6 addresses via name resolution!) or use the netstat -an command:
What are the differeces between IPv4 and IPv6 IIS?
